Ever wanted to be a singer, but needed more proper instruction on vocal techniques? If so, a new opportunity has arisen for local residents living in La Mirada and Norwalk.
Starting on September 11, the Norwalk-La Mirada Adult School will offer a vocal/choral class from 6:15-8:15 P.M. on Wednesday evenings at its La Mirada campus.
Students will work on individual and group songs, breathing, note reading, timing, harmony, and presentational skills. Students of all levels are welcome.
The Fall Semester will feature both contemporary and traditional folk music as well as preparation for the classes’ annual Holiday Concert at the Nixon Library on December 29, 2013.
The fee is $40 for the semester, September 11 through January 29, with a class recital for family and friends. Register at the La Mirada Campus located at 15920 Barbata Road, La Mirada.
