La Mirada residents may place their used Christmas trees curbside on the normal trash pick-up day. Trees should be cut into six-foot segments and be free of all ornaments, tinsel, lights, nails, plastic containers, tree stands, and plastic bags. Flocked trees will be accepted.
Residents living in multi-family communities without curbside refuse service may drop their tree off at the La Mirada Community Gymnasium, 15105 Alicante Road.
