This weekend is the last chance to prepare your home for Spring Beautification judging. The La Mirada Spring Beautification Program recognizes homeowners who have done an exceptional job maintaining or improving their homes.
Beginning March 16 through March 27, judges will be evaluating homes based on landscaping, exterior maintenance and compliance with City codes. Winners will be recognized in categories of “Most Outstanding”, “Most Improved”, and homes that best use California friendly landscaping.
Award winners will be honored on Monday, June 8 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. The “Most Improved”, “Most Outstanding”, and best use of California friendly landscaping award recipients will be shown during a slideshow presentation and winners will be presented with awards onstage. Over 200 residents will receive recognition.
Homes will be judged by volunteer judges. Nominations are also being accepted through March 27 and forms are available at all City facilities and online at www.cityoflamirada.org.
