Seven offices were broken into on the 14200 block of Firestone Blvd. Surveillance footage captured the suspects in action. The case is still under investigation.
Also in La Mirada, a suspect attempted to strike two deputies with a vehicle while fleeing from a traffic stop near the intersection of Ratliffe St. and Edwards Rd. No injuries were sustained during the incident. The suspect was later arrested.
In other crime reports, two suspects were arrested for driving vehicle without owner’s consent, and five suspects were arrested throughout the City for various warrants and narcotics violations.
Two structure burglaries occurred on the 14800 block of Beach Blvd. where cash was stolen during an early morning window smash burglary.
Also an attempted burglary was reported on the 15200 block of Rosecrans Ave.
