La Mirada Crime Summary April 23, 2012 – April 29, 2012

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Robbery

A robbery was reported on the 15200 block of Rosecrans Ave. A suspect was taken into custody.

 

Aggravated Assault   

An assault occurred near Foster Rd. and Marquardt Ave. A suspect, who is known to the victim, was taken into custody.

Residential Burglary  

Four burglaries were reported last week.

An incident was reported on the 14700 block of Borego Dr. Unknown suspects entered the home through a bathroom window and took cash and jewelry.

A burglary occurred on the 15100 block of Manzanares Rd. Entry was made through a bedroom window. Various electronics were taken.

An incident occurred on the 15800 block of Cobblestone Rd. Entry was made through a sliding door. Jewelry was taken.

A burglary was reported on the 14900 block of Biola Ave.  Unknown suspects entered the home through an unlocked sliding door.

 

Other Structure Burglary 

A burglary was reported on the 15600 block of Imperial Hwy. Cash was stolen from the office at the location.

Vehicle Burglary 

Four burglaries were reported the past week.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 11700 block of Monticello Dr.

A burglary was reported on the 16000 block of Formby Dr. A stereo/navigation

system was stolen.

A motorhome parked on the 14900 block of Firestone Blvd. was reported burglarized.

A window smash burglary occurred on the 15700 block of Rosecrans Ave. A purse was taken from the vehicle.

 

Grand Theft 

A theft from a vehicle was reported on the 12100 block of Bluefield Ave. Miscellaneous items were taken.

Tires were reported stolen from a truck parked on the 15400 block of Phoebe Ave.

Two separate thefts were reported on the 15200 block of Rosecrans Ave. and the 16000 block of Heron Ave. The incidents are currently under investigation.

A theft was reported from a garage on the 14900 block of Valeda Dr.

Grand Theft Vehicle

A vehicle theft was reported on the 14700 block of Costa Mesa Dr. The vehicle was recovered several days later by the Long Beach Police Department.
