La Mirada~A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy has apparently shot and killed himself in La Mirada early Saturday morning, the Coroner’s office said.
There is very little information available at this time about the suicide other than the victim being a male and it occurred around 2:00 a.m. on San Feliciano Drive.
At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed that the deputy was indeed a member of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and he was off-duty at the time.
