The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program is a 20-hour all-hazards training offered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your family and your neighbors in a disaster or emergency situation. Lessons will include Fire Safety, Hazardous Material and Terrorist Incidents, Disaster Medical Operations, and Search and Rescue.
CERT trainings are held regularly throughout the area. The next three-day CERT training in La Mirada will be held on September 5, 12, and 19, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Space is limited. For more information, contact the La Mirada Community Sheriff’s Station at (562) 902-2960.
