La Mirada Crime Oct. 10 – Oct. 16, 2016

Get Ready to “ShakeOut”
On October 20, the City of La Mirada will join millions of Californians by participating in the Great California ShakeOut earthquake preparedness campaign. Dozens of La Mirada businesses, schools, organizations, and the Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s Departments have signed up to participate too!

The ShakeOut encourages all Californians to “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” at 10:20 a.m. (on 10/20). The ShakeOut provides a great opportunity to practice safety procedures in case of an earthquake.

Are you prepared for an earthquake?
