TONIGHT! La Mirada Symphony Musicians to Perform at America’s 250th Celebration

LCCN Staff Report

Five musicians from the La Mirada Symphony will perform patriotic selections as a chamber ensemble during the City of La Mirada’s America’s 250th Celebration on Saturday, June 6, at the La Mirada Civic Center Plaza.

The community event begins at 6 p.m. and commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with food vendors, live entertainment, patriotic music, and a drone light show.

While the performance will not feature the full La Mirada Symphony orchestra, organizers say the appearance provides an opportunity to bring live music beyond the concert hall and into the community.

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening celebrating America’s history with family, friends, and neighbors.

The event is presented by the City of La Mirada and is free to attend.

The La Mirada Civic Center Plaza is located at 13700 La Mirada Boulevard.
