Aggravated Assault

• A victim was arrested on the 13200 block of Woodridge Ave. for vandalizing a vehicle and brandishing a firearm. No injuries were sustained during the incident.

Residential Burglary

• A daytime burglary was reported on the 16600 block of Adler Rd. No items were reported missing from the location.

Other Structure Burglary

• Several boxes of earphones were reported stolen during a daytime theft on the 14700 block of Artesia Bl.

Vehicle Burglary

• A suitcase with cash and clothing was reported stolen during a daytime window smash burglary on the 16700 block of Knott Ave.

• Cash and sunglasses were reported stolen during an early morning window smash burglary on the 11800 block of Rimrock Dr.

Grand Theft Auto

• A truck was reported stolen on the 11900 block of La Mirada Blvd.

Holiday Tree Lighting Drive-Thru Event

– Bring Toy and Food Donations –

           

The City will host a special Holiday Tree Lighting Drive-Thru Event on Saturday, December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Civic Center parking lot. 

 

The event will begin with a tree lighting ceremony, which will be live streamed on the City’s social media platforms. Participants attending the drive-thru event are encouraged to bring new, packaged, and unwrapped toys and food items to donate for local families in need. 

 

Santa Claus will be waving to children along the festively decorated route. Children will also be able to drop-off letters to Santa. Craft kits and goodie bags will be given to all children to enjoy at home!
