(Norwalk-La Mirada) Norwalk Sheriff’s Detectives are searching for a wanted armed robbery suspect, and on Thursday afternoon they sent out a notice to members of the media to find the known individual.
The suspect, identified as Levi Tanner Salerno is described as a White Male, 5’11 tall, 185 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes and has both ears pierced.
Detectives believe that Salerno, 19, was responsible for the September 29th armed robbery of the Pep Boys at 12251 La Mirada Boulevard, and is known to frequent La Mirada Regional Park, the La Mirada Golf Course, and the La Mirada Mall. The crime took place at 12:25 a.m.
“Salerno was one of two suspects who approached the victims and demanded their money at knifepoint. Fearing for their safety, the victims complied and gave the suspects their money,” a statement read. An additional suspect, Chaz Corella has been arrested, but Salarno’s whereabouts are unknown.
