The Arts Colony of La Mirada is inviting local and regional artists to submit their original works for “Mirrors of Your Mind 2026,” the organization’s annual juried art exhibition set for Nov. 16-20 at the La Mirada Activity Center.
The exhibition is open to artists 18 and older working in watercolor, mixed media, oil, acrylic, pastel, photography and sculpture. Artists may submit an unlimited number of original works.
Award-winning artist Kevin Davidson will judge this year’s exhibition, selecting first-, second- and third-place winners along with honorable mentions. First place will receive $350, second place $200 and third place $100.
Artists may also offer their work for sale during the exhibition, with the Arts Colony retaining a 10% commission. Entry fees are $15 per artwork for Arts Colony members and $30 for non-members. Annual membership is $25.
Artwork will be accepted Nov. 10 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition will run Nov. 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by an awards reception Nov. 21 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Artwork may be picked up immediately following the reception.
