The City of La Mirada remains committed to maintaining public safety as the City’s highest priority. The La Mirada Public Safety Team works proactively with local businesses to promote community safety and deter crime. Similar to Neighborhood Watch, which is a program available to residents, Business Watch is a crime prevention program dedicated to helping keep the business community safe.
The Business Watch Program strengthens communication between businesses and the Public Safety Team and establishes relationships among neighboring businesses. Business Watch provides resources to solve crime-related problems and also serves as a forum for emergency preparedness training, coordination, and communication.
