Aggravated Assault: An assault was reported on the 15600 block of Surrey Ln. A suspect was arrested by responding deputies.
Other Structure Burglary: An incident was reported on the 14000 block of Estero Rd. A tool box was stolen after the latch was pried off from a carport storage locker at the location.
Vehicle Burglary: Six vehicle burglaries were reported last week.
A vehicle’s door lock was punched in on the 16700 block of Trojan Way. Speaker boxes and an MP3 player were stolen.
A window smash burglary was reported on the 12000 block of Santa Gertrudes Ave. A purse was stolen from the vehicle.
A burglary occurred on the 14600 block of Mercado Ave. A car stereo, third row seat, and other items were taken.
A window smash burglary was reported on the 13500 block of Dalmatian Ave. A laptop computer was stolen.
Two separate incidents occurred on the 14200 block of Firestone Blvd. and the 14500 block of Artesia Blvd. Car stereos were stolen from both vehicles.
Grand Theft: Two grand thefts were reported last week.
A theft was reported on the 15200 block of Rosecrans Ave. A suspect was arrested in connection with the incident.
A theft of air conditioning units was reported on the 13000 block of La Mirada Blvd.
Grand Theft Vehicle: Two stolen vehicles were reported last week.
A vehicle was stolen from the 14900 block of Gagely Dr. The vehicle was recovered the same day.
A vehicle theft was also reported on the 13000 block of Mcnally Rd.
Register in the Alert LA County Mass Notification System
Los Angeles County’s emergency mass notification system, called Alert LA County, will be used to contact residents and businesses using recorded phone messages, text messages or e-mail messages in the event of an emergency. Alert LA County will be used by the Sheriff’s Department to notify residents and businesses of emergencies and critical information regarding necessary actions that should be taken, such as evacuation or shelter-in-place orders.
The system utilizes the telephone companies’ 911 database to contact both listed and unlisted land-line telephone numbers. If the call is picked up by an answering machine, the system will leave a recorded message.
