Mayor Steve De Ruse appointed members of the La Mirada City Council to serve as delegates to various agencies serving the community.
The California Contract Cities Association delegate will be Councilmember Steve Jones and the alternate will be Mayor Pro Tem Lawrence P. Mowles.
Representing the City at the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce Board meeting will be Mayor De Ruse and Councilmember Andrew Sarega will serve as the alternate.
Mayor De Ruse will also serve as the delegate to the Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 18. The alternate will be Councilmember Sarega.
Councilmember Pauline Deal will continue to serve as the trustee on the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District.
Mayor Pro Tem Mowles will serve as a director for the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority. Acting City Manager Tom Robinson will serve as the alternate.
The League of California Cities delegate will be Mayor De Ruse, and Councilmember Sarega will serve as the alternate.
The League of California Cities Legislative Program delegate will be Mayor De Ruse, and the alternate will be Mayor Pro Tem Mowles.
The Los Angeles County City Selection Committee delegate will be Mayor De Ruse, and the alternate will be Councilmember Sarega.
Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority (SASSFA) delegate will be Mayor De Ruse, and the alternate will be Councilmember Jones.
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) delegate will be Councilmember Sarega, and the alternate will be Mayor Pro Tem Mowles.
Serving as the delegate for the Gateway Cities Council of Governments (COG) will be Councilmember Sarega. The alternate will be Mayor Pro Tem Mowles.
Representing La Mirada on the I-5 JPA Consortium will be Councilmember Jones as delegate and Mayor De Ruse as alternate.
The City’s representative on the City Council/Norwalk La Mirada Unified School Board Committee will be Mayor De Ruse and Councilmember Deal.
