La Mirada Crime Summery Feb. 1 – Feb. 7, 2016

Robbery
• A robbery was reported near the intersection of Excelsior Dr. at Escalona Rd. The suspects used a simulated firearm and stole cash from the victim. No injuries were reported. Both suspects were taken into custody.
• A strong-arm robbery was reported on the 14900 block of La Mirada Blvd that occurred in October 2015. Cash was stolen from the victim. No injuries were reported.
Burglary
• There was no loss reported during a burglary that occurred on the 14900 block of Crosswood Rd.
Other Structure Burglary
• Supplies were reported stolen from a storage room on the 15900 block of Alicante Rd.
Vehicle Burglary
• A window-smash burglary was reported on the 14300 block of Firestone Blvd. A backpack containing electronics was reported stolen from the vehicle.
Grand Theft
• A wallet, cash, and watches were reported stolen from a residence at the 13600 block of Greenoak Ct.
• Copper coils from air conditioning units were reported stolen on the 15700 block of Imperial Blvd.
• Various items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 14100 block of
Biola Ave.
• A laptop was stolen from unlocked vehicle on the 15500 block of Escalona Rd.
• Two cell phones, a checkbook, and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 14200 block of Neargrove Rd.
• Computer equipment was stolen from unlocked vehicle on the 14800 block of San Ardo Dr.
Grand Theft Vehicle
• A SUV was reported stolen from the15500 block of Escalona Rd. The vehicle was recovered four days later in La Mirada by Sheriff’s deputies.
• A sedan was reported stolen from the14500 block of Stage Rd. The vehicle remains outstanding.
• A sedan was reported stolen from the13900 block of Ramhurst Dr. The vehicle was recovered four days later by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in Whittier County.
• A sedan was reported stolen from the15700 block of Imperial Hwy. The vehicle is remains outstanding.
