Aug. 1 – Aug. 7, 2016 La Mirada Crime Summary

• A domestic incident occurred during the evening on the 15100 block of Leffingwell Rd.  The suspect was arrested and no major injuries were reported.
• A suspect was arrested for making threats with a baseball bat during a family disturbance on the 14000 block of Foster Rd.  No injuries were reported during incident.

• A garage door opener was taken from an unlocked vehicle sometime during the night and used to break into the garage on the 13400 block of Fontwell Ct.  A camcorder, books and tools were reported stolen.
• A garage door opener was stolen from a vehicle and used to break into a garage on the 16500 block of Stonehaven Ct.  A sports bag and other personal items were reported stolen.
• An attempted burglary during the morning hours was reported on the 13800 block of Laguna St.  The suspect was arrested in connection to this incident.

• A window-smash burglary to a business during the early morning hours was reported on the 14800 block of Telegraph Rd.  No loss was reported.
• A burglary was reported on the 15500 block of Carrington Dr. The case is still under investigation.

• A window smash burglary occurred during the early morning hours on the 15000 block of Ocaso Ave.  A container with paperwork was stolen.
• A backpack was stolen during a window smash burglary in the early morning hours on the 11900 block of Mayes Dr.
• A burglary was reported on the 15900 block of Ashgrove Dr. The incident remains under investigation

• A daytime theft of power tools was reported on the 12300 block of La Mirada Blvd.
• A backpack, laptop and camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime during the night on the 15200 block of Greenworth Dr.
• Jewelry was reported stolen from the 13000 block of La Mirada Blvd.  The incident remains under investigation.

• A sedan was reported stolen on the 13800 block of La Mirada Blvd.
• A sedan was recovered on the 16100 block of Mart Dr.  The vehicle was reported stolen out of La Habra Police Department’s jurisdiction.
