SANTA ANA >> Mater Dei quarterback sophomore JT Daniels passed for 358 yards and five touchdowns to in a 48-0 blasting of the Matadores at Santa Ana Stadium this past Friday night.
The Matadores have been shut out the last two games by a combined 82-0.
Mater Dei scored on five of its first six possessions leading 34-0 lead at halftime, outgaining the Matadores 362-71.
The Matadores’ offense was never had a chance only crossing their own 40 yard line, with all possessions ending in punts.
They play San Clemente next week at home.
