La Mirada Crime Summary Oct. 3 – Oct. 9, 2016

Aggravated Assault
• A shooting occurred near Marquardt Ave. at Bora Dr. A victim was transported to the hospital and treated for a non-life threatening injury. The suspect vehicle fled out of view. The incident remains under investigation.
• An assault occurred near Marquardt Ave. at Foster Rd. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
Other Structure Burglary
• Two bicycles and a violin were stolen from a garage sometime overnight on the 14400 block of Valeda Dr.
Vehicle Burglary
• A purse was stolen during a daytime window-smash burglary near the 14600 block of Mercado Ave.
• A sedan was broken into sometime overnight on the 14700 block of Fairacres Dr.  The exact loss is yet to be determined.
• Cash and a tennis racquet were stolen during an early morning burglary on the 13300 block of Orange Grove Dr.
• A car battery was stolen during a daytime burglary on the 12800 block of Valley View Ave.
Grand Theft
• A laptop was reported stolen during a daytime theft on the 13500 block of Adelfa Dr.  The suspect was arrested and the item was recovered.
• A tailgate from a vehicle was stolen sometime overnight from a parking lot on the 13900 block of Imperial Hwy.
• Cash was stolen from a hotel room on the 14700 block of Firestone Blvd.
Grand Theft Vehicle
• A coupe was reported stolen on the 14700 block of Firestone Blvd.  The vehicle was later recovered by Bell P.D.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 14500 block of Rosecrans Ave.  The vehicle was later recovered by Bell Gardens P.D.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 15800 block of Imperial Hwy.
• A sedan was reported stolen near Bona Vista Ln. and Mansa Dr.  The vehicle was later recovered by La Mirada Sheriff’s deputies.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 14600 block of Rosecrans Ave.  The vehicle was later recovered by Buena Park P.D.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 12300 block of Santa Gertudes Ave.  The vehicle was later recovered by La Mirada Sheriff’s deputies.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 14700 block of Fairacres Dr.  The vehicle was later recovered by La Mirada Sheriff’s deputies.
• A SUV was reported stolen on the 14300 block of Macaw St.  The vehicle was later recovered by La Palma P.D.
• A sedan was recovered by La Mirada Sheriff’s on the 14100 block of Visions Dr.  The vehicle was reported stolen by Long Beach P.D.
