April 22- April 28, 2019 La Mirada Crime Summary

Notable Arrests

• The La Mirada Detectives identified two suspects who were involved in a grand theft of nicotine gum that occurred in late December on the 14800 block of Telegraph Rd.   The suspects are currently in custody awaiting trial.
• A suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property near the intersection of Rosecrans Ave. and Santa Gertrudes Ave.
• Six suspects were arrested throughout La Mirada for various warrants and narcotics violations.

Aggravated Assault

• During an argument on the 15000 block of Imperial Hwy. a suspect brandished a bb gun in a threatening manner at a victim. After a brief altercation the suspect fled, but was arrested a short time later. No injuries were sustained during the incident.
• A knife was brandished in a threatening manner during a domestic incident on the 14400 block of Emita Ave. The suspect was arrested at the scene. No injuries were sustained during the incident.
• A skateboard was swung as a weapon near the intersection of Hillsborough Dr. and Beach Blvd. No injuries were sustained during the incident.
Residential Burglary

• A daytime theft of golf clubs was reported on the 15000 block of Riviera Ln. The items were stolen from an unsecured attached garage.
• A tablet and laptop were reported stolen during a daytime burglary on the 15300 block of Pastrana Dr.
Other Structure Burglary

• A daytime window smash burglary was reported on the 14500 block of Alondra Blvd. The exact loss is yet to be determined.
Vehicle Burglary

• An early morning window smash burglary was reported on the 15300 block of Valley View Ave.
• A late night burglary was reported on the 12800 block of Valley View Ave.
Grand Theft Auto

• A stolen sedan was recovered on the 11700 block of Gayview Dr.
• A stolen SUV was recovered on the 16500 block of Summershade Dr.
