“Love La Mirada” Day of Service May 4

The fourth annual “Love La Mirada” Day of Service event will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to noon. Opportunities to participate in a variety of projects are available including park cleanups and enhancements at local schools.

A “Love La Mirada” rally will be held at 8 a.m. at Granada Heights Friends Church (located 11818 La Mirada Boulevard) to kick off the event. Volunteers will receive t-shirts, refreshments, and instructions on the service projects. Projects will conclude around noon, and teams will return to Granada Heights Friends Church for lunch, music, and other fun activities.
