The La Mirada City Council recognized Living Faith Church for its 25th anniversary at a recent Council meeting.
Living Faith in La Mirada (LFLM) began in December 1999 and has operated from multiple locations, including local schools and City facilities. Since 2017, under the leadership of
Pastors Steve and Maria Camarillo, LFLM has remained committed to providing support and resources to the community through partnerships and direct involvement.
Living Faith in La Mirada has sponsored various community events, including Thanksgiving dinners at Foster Road Elementary School, La Mirada High School sports, and Senior Night. It was one of the original donors to the “Make a Splash!” fundraising campaign for La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center. It has also been a partner in citywide efforts such as Love La Mirada and the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. The church is also actively involved in the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, and school PTAs, regularly donating essential items such as computers, backpacks, and clothing to support students and teachers.
Living Faith in La Mirada has been a cornerstone of service, embodying a model of faith that focuses on action and community impact. Its dedication to the betterment of La Mirada is a testament to its mission of supporting neighbors and enriching lives.
