La Mirada Theatre Announces Star-Studded Holiday Concert Lineup

LA MIRADA — The La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts is celebrating the season with a festive December lineup featuring legendary artists, classic performances, and multicultural holiday celebrations.

The holiday concert series begins on Saturday, December 7, at 3 p.m. with The Drifters, the iconic vocal group known for timeless hits like “Under the Boardwalk” and “This Magic Moment.” Their soulful harmonies and classic rhythm-and-blues sound will set the tone for a month of holiday cheer.

On Thursday, December 12, Grammy-nominated pop band Sixpence None the Richer takes the stage at 8 p.m. with A Sixpence Christmas, blending their beloved hits “Kiss Me” and “There She Goes” with warm, acoustic renditions of holiday favorites.

The following evening, Friday, December 13, at 8 p.m., fans of ’80s pop will relive the era’s greatest sounds when A Flock of Seagulls and Stacey Q perform live in concert. Expect synth-pop energy and chart-topping nostalgia in one unforgettable night.

On Saturday, December 14, audiences can experience Navidad en México, a vibrant holiday celebration by the Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno. Performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. will showcase the colors, music, and dance traditions of Mexico in a cultural spectacle perfect for the whole family.

The season concludes on Saturday, December 21, when The Nutcracker Magical Christmas Ballet brings Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece to life at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The production promises breathtaking choreography, dazzling costumes, and all the wonder of a classic holiday tradition.
