Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Beach Boulevard in La Mirada
Crash closed major roadway for hours as Sheriff’s investigators examined the scene

LA MIRADA — A motorcyclist was killed Thursday morning following a collision with a vehicle on Beach Boulevard in La Mirada, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:28 a.m. on June 25 near the intersection of South Beach Boulevard and Hillsborough Drive.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the motorcyclist lying in the roadway next to the involved vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the location and cooperated with investigators.
Beach Boulevard, one of the area’s busiest north-south thoroughfares, was closed for several hours while investigators from the Sheriff’s Department Traffic Bureau documented evidence and reconstructed the collision.
Personnel from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to assist with the investigation and recovery of the deceased.
Authorities have not released the identity of the motorcyclist pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
