Robbery suspect fatally shot after shooting at Sheriff’s deputies
On Nov. 21, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a robbery at the AM/PM convenience store located at Beach Boulevard and Hillsborough Drive. After deputies arrived on scene, the suspect barricaded himself inside the store.Following a three hour standoff, the suspect exited the store and opened fire at deputies. Members of the Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau returned fire, striking the suspect. The suspect was pronounced dead and a handgun was recovered. No deputies were injured in the incident.

• Cash and clothing merchandise were reported stolen during an overnight burglary on the 15000 block of Rosecrans Ave.
Vehicle Burglary
• A late night burglary was reported on the 14200 block of Foster Rd. The exact loss has yet to be determined.
• A daytime window-smash occurred on the 12000 block of Santa Gertrudes Ave. A purse was reported stolen from the vehicle.
• A purse was reported stolen during a daytime window-smash burglary on the 13300 block of Beach Blvd.
• An early morning burglary was reported on the 16100 block of Rosecrans Ave. The exact loss has yet to be determined.
• A daytime burglary was reported on the 13700 block of La Mirada Blvd.
• A GPS and a check were reported stolen during an overnight burglary on the 16000 block of Formby Dr.
• An early morning window-smash burglary occurred on the 15800 block of Shadywood Ct.
• Various personal items were reported stolen during a daytime burglary on the 16100 block of Rosecrans Ave.
Grand Theft
• A generator was reported stolen from a trailer on the 15000 block of Fairhope Dr.
Grand Theft Vehicle
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 13400 block of Fontwell Ct.
• A sedan was reported stolen on the 15100 block of Golden Lantern Ln.
