La Habra Duke’s Car Club once again rolled up sleeves to help the City of La Mirada and  the Los Angeles County Fire Station 49  by holding a “toy drive” Saturday, November 19th in the City of Brea  Toys were donated to Station 49 on Saturday December 3, 2016.

These toys will be distributed to children in the local community who might otherwise not have a merry Christmas.

Santa arrived by classic car and was introduced to all the children by Kriss FM DJ and child star Rodney Allen ‘Rippy’ of Jack -In-The Box fame.

Friends of EDCO Waste & Recycle Services donated the recyclable cardboard boxes for the toys.

Republic Waste & Recycle Services the donated recyclable trash bins at the Brea event to maintain a clean and litter free environment. SoCal Auto Spas, Prime Motivation and PowerAll helped sponsored the event, and donated all the raffle items.

Working with Pastor Jack Miranda of the Living Faith Church, money collected will be donated to a local family in the community, to help with cloths, food, toys and possibly a tree.  Miranda referred a grandmother raising her grandchildren, ages three and five as recipients.  The children lost their mother in a tragic accident earlier this year.  Dino’s Bomb Squad and Classic Dreams Car Clubs from Los Angeles joined in the toy drive and classic car show.
