An assault was reported at Excelsior Dr. and Stanleaf Dr. The victim was struck in the head with a bat after a verbal confrontation. The incident is under investigation.

A burglary was reported on the 15200 block of Greenworth Dr. Cash was reported stolen from the home.
Other Structure Burglary
A burglary to a business was reported on the 14900 block of Valley View Ave. Electronics and food racks were stolen from the location.
Vehicle Burglary
A window smash burglary was reported on the 12000 block of Santa Gertrudes Ave. A purse was reported stolen from the vehicle.
Locker Burglary
A burglary to a gym locker was reported on the 13300 block of Beach Blvd. Cash was stolen in the incident.
Grand Theft Vehicle
• A vehicle was reported stolen from the 13000 block of Woodridge Ave.
• A van was reported stolen from the 14800 block of San Ardo Dr. The vehicle was recovered the following day by the Los Angeles Police Department after being stripped.
• A trailer was reported stolen from the 14700 block of San Esteban Dr.
• A van was reported stolen from the 14200 block of Neargrove Rd. The vehicle was recovered in fair condition by the Los Angeles Police Department.
• A vehicle reported stolen from El Monte was recovered at Del Vista Ln and Las Flores Ave. after being stripped.
• A vehicle reported stolen from Huntington Beach was recovered on the 16100 block of Rosecrans Ave.
